No installation needed for most apps — CT Scan, CT Guard, CT Verify and CT Alert work directly in your browser. CT Vault has an optional desktop app and CT Extension is a browser extension currently in development.

Yes. CT App Center is operated by Segurança Digital Lda., a Portuguese company subject to EU law and GDPR. All data is stored in EU data centres. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

CT Scan analyses any URL, domain or file hash by cross-referencing 40+ global threat databases including Google Safe Browsing, VirusTotal and PhishTank. It also checks SSL certificates, WHOIS records, DNS configuration and community reports — returning a Trust Score from 0 to 100 in under 2 seconds.

The Trust Score is a number from 0 to 100 that represents how safe and trustworthy a domain or URL is. It is calculated based on SSL validity, domain age, blacklist status, DNS configuration, WHOIS data and community reports. A score above 80 is considered safe, 40–80 is caution and below 40 is dangerous.

The CT App Center API is available on Pro and Business plans. After upgrading, go to your dashboard → Settings → API Access to generate your API key. Full documentation is available at /docs. The API supports REST calls with JSON responses for scanning, verification and monitoring.

On the Free plan you get 10 scans per day across all apps. Pro and Business plans include unlimited scans. The API has a limit of 1,000 requests/day on Pro and unlimited on Business. Scan limits reset every 24 hours.

Yes. CT Vault uses AES-256 encryption with a zero-knowledge architecture — your master password never leaves your device. All encryption and decryption happens locally in your browser. Our servers only store encrypted ciphertext that we cannot read under any circumstances.

Yes — the Business plan supports unlimited team members under one account. Each user gets their own login and you can manage permissions centrally. Pro plan supports up to 5 users.
