Please read these terms carefully

By accessing or using CT App Center, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Segurança Digital Lda. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

1. Definitions

PlatformCT App Center, accessible at ctappcenter.com, including all apps and services.

We / UsSegurança Digital Lda., the company operating the platform.

You / UserAny individual or entity accessing or using the platform.

AppsThe six security tools: CT Scan, CT Guard, CT Verify, CT Vault, CT Alert and CT Extension.

APIThe CT App Center application programming interface available to Pro and Business users.

ContentAll scan results, trust scores, threat data and community reports generated by the platform.

2. Eligibility and account registration

✓ You must be at least 16 years old to use this platform.
✓ You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
✓ You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
✓ You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
✗ You may not share your account credentials with third parties.
✗ You may not create accounts using automated means or false identities.

3. Permitted use

CT App Center is provided for lawful security research, threat intelligence and digital protection purposes. You agree to use the platform only for:

✓ Scanning URLs and domains you own or have permission to scan
✓ Verifying the legitimacy of websites and emails
✓ Reporting genuine scams and phishing attempts
✓ Integrating the API into your own legitimate applications

You must NOT use the platform to:

✗ Submit false or malicious reports to damage legitimate businesses
✗ Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or overload our systems
✗ Use the platform for any illegal purpose under Portuguese or EU law
✗ Resell or redistribute our data without written permission
✗ Use automated tools to exceed your API rate limits

4. Subscription plans and billing

✓ Plans are billed monthly or annually in EUR, VAT included.
✓ Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
✓ We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans, no questions asked.
✓ Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
✓ We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
✗ Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods beyond the 14-day guarantee.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

⚠️ Important

CT App Center provides threat intelligence and security information on a best-effort basis. Scan results and trust scores are indicative and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for security decisions. We do not guarantee that all threats will be detected or that all safe domains will be correctly identified.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Segurança Digital Lda. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

— Loss of data or profits resulting from use of the platform
— Security incidents arising from reliance on scan results
— Service interruptions or platform unavailability

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

7. Intellectual property

All content, software, design, trademarks and intellectual property on CT App Center are owned by or licensed to Segurança Digital Lda. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Community-submitted reports remain your property but you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use them to improve our threat intelligence database.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Upon termination:

— Access to the platform will cease immediately
— Your data will be deleted within 30 days per our Privacy Policy
— Billing records will be retained as required by law

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Aveiro, Portugal. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or platform notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
